This week I began reading You Can Heal Your Life, a wonderful book by Louise Hay. I recently finished an excercise in the book entititled, "I Should..." Here's how it works:
- Make a list of 3-5 activities/duties/life goals that you should complete.
- Ask the question "Who said I should do this?" (Mom, Dad, etc.)
- Then rephrase the "should" and say "I could do this activity..."
- Ask yourself: "Why haven't I?"

This morning, I asked God what is best to focus on today. God replied: "Be grateful. Live in a state of gratitude, and make your life a prayer."
What a simple, sunny, blissful way to approach life. Living in a state of gratitude.

Hmmm...The month of September has been pretty interesting. I just finished performing in the 24 Hour Play Festival with Dramatic Adventure Theatre, and I am now hosting my own radio show!

Lately, my mind has been barraged with all that I hope to accomplish during the month of September. This past evening proved no different; a copy of Backstage lay nearby and my journal, books, and writing materials lay strewn about.
So, with all the craziness, I decided to meditate and pray for a while. After a few minutes my mind cleared a bit, and the answer came: "Live your life in this moment. Your thoughts are creating your future, so think positively, and your future will be joyous."

After several months of performing I decided to take a much needed rest. Before heading off to NYC I opted to stay in Florida another week and soak up some sun. I've been sleeping late every day, and throwing responsibility out the window. Initially, it was hard to take-nothing to do, nowhere to go, but with time, I've eased into the silence, and now I welcome it. I'm stoked about New York, but for now lazy days are my new best friend.
